Dan Boudreau A Note from Dan

I hope this finds you having a fabulous summer and moving into a productive and rewarding autumn!

Thank you to all the new subscribers for joining us! I hope you enjoy reading this e-zine and please feel free to share it with your friends.

I had an envigorating conference call with the Morgan James Publishing team last week. Our focus was marketing, getting the word out about the rapidly approaching launch of RiskBuster. We have several joint venture partners now committed to help us with the eblast (and are shamelessly looking for more!). The RiskBuster book launch is now set to be November 10, 2009.

This being my second run at publishing a book, I love the approach the Morgan James team takes. Every step of the way, I feel supported and confident knowing they are committed to the success of the book. It’s a new world in the publishing industry, and David Hancock and Rick Frishman are ahead of the curve, a true guerilla publishing business. I’m honoured to have them in my corner.
We’re still easing into the new e-zine format and would appreciate any feedback you might have.

Feature Article: Forecasting Isn’t The Same As Accounting

Many people assume that forecasting is the same as accounting, and that it should be left to highly skilled professionals, such as bankers, accountants and MBA’s. And yet, the process of forecasting is sure to be a healthy learning experience for owners and anyone thinking about starting a business. Read the full article by Dan Boudreau.

Feature Product: Are You Ready For A Business Makeover?

If you own your business, or want to start one, take a few minutes to read this because this no cost teleclass may very well change the entire way you go about business.

Most business owners are looking for fast results but move so fast through their actions that not much is changing with their bottom line.

The only way to break through a financial ceiling is to give yourself and business a makeover.  You have to start with your mindset, or you’ll continue to create the same results.  Even the best strategies won’t yield high profits when the person behind the business hasn’t changed the way they think and act in their business.

Your business is a direct reflection of you.  This is great news!

If you change just a few things, you can be sweeping up the glass after you break through that glass ceiling.

I’m thrilled to invite you to play with the ULTIMATE business coachin g and makeover tag team – Jeanna Gabellini, Law of Attraction Coach, co-author of Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and Wendy Hanson, Business Coach of The Sassy Ladies, co-author of The Sassy Ladies Tool Kit for Start Up Businesses.

Jeanna and Wendy have two decades of business coaching between them.  They say there are four things that truly need to happen to turn any small or large company around.

1. You, as the leader of your company, must be programmed for success.
2. You must enjoy the service or products you provide and love the way you run your business.
3. Your strategies must line up with your personal vision and values.
4. The whole process has to be simple and easy to do, or you won’t stick with it.

Join them Tuesday, September 8th at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET for the NO COST telelcass:

For the Love of Business – A Makeover Plan for Your Vision, Thinking & Profits

It’s time to fall back in love with your entire business, including the money it’s attracting.

Cheers to shattering the old patterns and ceilings!

A touch of humour…

A debt-troubled man, hopelessly poring over a pile of bills, suddenly shouted “I’d give a thousand dollars to anyone who would do my worrying for me!”

“You’re on,” said his wife. “Where is the thousand?”

“That is your first worry,” he replied.
