Dynamic Content is a Customer Magnet

Dynamic Content is a Customer Magnet

Content is king! “Content” is the term used to describe all nature of media, including written, graphic, audio and visual materials.

In the light-speed world of the Internet, searchers have no patience for fluff. They expect to get what they want within seconds, and if not, they’re gone. Content is the key to getting visitors to your website, keeping them engaged while there, and getting more return visits and referrals. This means website owners must provide engaging and relevant content at all times.

Here are twelve of types of content that will make it easy for Internet users to find your website.

1. Business Information. This includes all media that tells the story of your business, your team, and your products and services.

2. Blog Posts. Blogs are an effective way to offer information to your customers. Blog posts attract visitor comments and interaction, creating a personal, friendly community environment. Blogs will keep you in touch with your customers and can also be an effective source of market research and sales leads.

3. Videos. Recently, video has become a dominant communication technology on the Internet. Most people are familiar with YouTube and how easy it is to post videos, whether from your computer or your mobile device. With its use now mainstream, video is a perfect way to post online marketing or educational webinars and tutorials.

4. Articles. Whatever your business, customers will read articles that help them to solve problems, to use your products, or to improve their lives in some way. You can write articles yourself, you can hire others to write them for you, or you can republish articles from other sources. Regardless, articles published at your website become a magnet through which search engines and web surfers can find you.

5. Presentations. Post PowerPoint presentations at your website, and make them easy for visitors to access or download. If appropriate, you can also publish your notes or participant materials and offer them as a follow-up to workshops, webinars or speaking engagements.

6. Audios. Audios are ideal for posting interviews, teleconferences, tutorials, or any information that adds value for your customers.

7. Sales Copy. This includes all nature of selling text and processes, such as sales letters, landing pages, and online brochures or flyers.

8. eCourses. At our website, visitors can opt-in to receive a free 8-part Introduction to Business Planning eCourse. The process is fully automated from the opt-in to the final delivery, making it very cost effective.

9. eBooks. Business owners can create their own ebooks or provide those written by others, and they can be sold or offered as free downloads. All nature of information can be offered in eBook format, including operating manuals, reports, and white papers.

11. Email Follow-up Sequences. Any series of communications that can be automated can be set to mail out at specified times using autoresponders.

12. Customer Service Communications. Business owners can post customer support responses to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) at blogs or at designated web pages.

In the eBusiness world, we want our website visitors to experience instant value and be motivated to bookmark the site and email the link to a few friends.

It’s far more costly to convert leads to customers than it is to get existing customers to become repeat customers. After all the effort you invest to get the first sales, it’s just good business to deliver value and keep visitors returning to your website again and again.
